We had an awsome 10 day vacation in Chelan / Lake Chelan. This was the highlight of our vacation - a day trip to Stehekin, up by seaplane, back by boat. Awsome day!
And yes, JOYCE is here, we are so happy to be with her! Welcome Joyce, and we are sorry you don't get to be here more often!

We camped in our tent trailer for 10 nights, on Phil and Mary's property.
This is how the kids slept. One night Emily made a drawing for Jonathan - a heart, and wrote "Love, Emily", then she put it in the middle of them. She often tells him that she loves him, and also that he is her best friend. Indeed, it is amazing how well they got along in these 10 days, especially they didn't have any children to play with. They didn't seem to mind that, they just had each other and of course all the aunts (3), an uncle and the parents. Pretty spoiled ;-). Oh, one day we met at the beach with the Sanderson's, and the 5 kids had a great time. That time I didn't have the camera, but I hope I can get some pictures from Sarah.

I'm so glad to hear you are safely home! We've missed you, but so glad you had a good time! Sorry you had to be sick for part of it! I LOVE the picture of the two kids sitting together on the log! Makes my heart sing! We'll see you at convention!!!
So fun to see your pictures of Stehekin where we spent a good part of our honeymoon 44 years ago last month. My, how the years have flown! And yet the place at the head of the lake doesn't look like it's changed much in all that time. It's still a beautiful spot that we'd like revisit someday...maybe for the 50th?!
